With the vision to update the Medical Imaging Technology in the medical professions in Iran, Tajhizat Pezeshki PISHRAFTEH (TPP) was established in 1987 by a team of engineers with almost 25 years of experience in the servicing and maintenance of medical equipment.
Following 5 years of successful work, in 1992 General Electric Healthcare, one of the world’s most advanced manufacturers of medical imaging systems, appointed TPP as its sole Iran distributor and aftersales service provider.
In 2000, the company built its factory in the industrial city of Hashtgerd, in the vicinity of 100 km from the capital Tehran. The factory area is about 6000 square metres. In a stride to transfer technical know-how into the country, TPP initiated the production of 400 GE ultrasound imaging systems in Iran.
In the year of 2003, the company obtained the license to manufacture RF Shielded enclosures and soon the first manufacturing line was put into effect. While meeting all the local demands, within 2 years the product was exported and installed in few Asian and African countries for the supplied GE MRI systems..
PISHRAFTEH’s achievements has promoted its status in the medical imaging equipment market in Iran and has added to the quality of medical diagnosis among the radiologists.
Furthermore, the company has gained extensive experience in the design and building of medical clinics and imaging centres and has been engaged in the production of related medically dedicated accessories in its factory.
PISHRAFTEH is committed to promot the scientific knowledge and technical expertise of ever-increasing number of its engineers who provide services and maintenance support to all the GE systems installed in Iran. In addition to its commercial activities, the company has established cooperation with the academic institutes by publishing periodicals, partake in medical exhibitions and sponsored seminars.
